Channel 11 News Reporter, Rosa Flores is a television journalist, blogger, artist, traveler, philanthropist, and social entrepreneur. She is passionate about motivating young women to reach their potential. Rosa learned at a very young age that when she sets her mind on something she can make it happen. Today, Rosa motivates and empowers women around the world to educate themselves.
Rosa has created a “mobile” talk show to motivate teenage girls to stay in school. She has a dual message: “stay in school and give back to your community.” As part of the program the students at Capital Hill High School in Oklahoma conducted a food drive and gathered about 1000 pounds of food and helped families across the state. Rosa’s recently profiled an Afghan woman on her show. Students gathered clothing items and blankets for the “Helping Afghan Women Project.”

Monica Pierre is CEO of Pierre Principle Communications, a media consulting company and is an Emmy Award-winning journalist, radio personality, author, actor and communications consultant. Monica has more than 20 years of experience in radio and television news. She is currently co-host of WWL 870 AM's Morning News. Throughout her career, she has encouraged listeners to take action to make their dreams become a reality. She earned a B.A. in Radio/Televsion Communications form the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana-Lafayette). Monica currently serves as an adjunct professor at Dillard University in New Orleans, teaching broadcast news writing and reporting.
Monica's latest book, No Permanent Scars: It's Never Too Late to Have the Life You Really Want, represents the second published installment of Monica's Motivations Moments.
